Golden, Colo. Shows Democracy to World Viewers on Al-jazeera Live

The Democratic convention in Colorado is on all main stream media , and Al-jazeera English viewed by over 120 million all over the world was no exception. However, in this free world which herald the first amendment of freedom of expression as a core of its value, Al-jazeera's being there was making the headlines.

Al-jazeera was dis-invited after the Mayor of Golden personally arranged for them BBQ at his home, so that they may show how great the democracy looks like in his small town. However, he was forced to cancel after what he says was complaint from some war vets.

Al-jazeera's Josh, Iraq war vet himself, says he was un-invited by the press, as all he came to know was through the media outlets reporting this shameful act.

Indeed, the Colorado's have shown what the Democracy looks like to 120 Al-jazeera viewers.

We are not done yet. Al jazeera got an invitation from Buffalo saloon to host its live coverage with ordinary citizens. However, according to Washington Post the Bike gangs made a truce to disturb the coverage. They held posters with racism and T-shirts, some insulting Islam (read w. Post ). In fact Al jazeera invited during the Live coverage one of the protesters to show his poster and read loudly (the fool apparently was happy with it)

This proves nothing but how at least for this case the way Americans view the rest of the world. Alas, it may appear on youtube and billions may watch how they treat guests!!
