No question about how al-jazeera challenged the Israeli propaganda machine . It is reporting live 24 hrs and galvanized the whole region, specially the Arabs.
While isreali officials gives live report of "that the humanitarian situations is as it should be". al-jazeera feeds lives images from Gaza on the other half of the screen on how dear the situation is and how bloody and overflown the hospital is. Al-jazeera is the only international media reporting live from with in Gaza. Despite the supreme court decision, Israel prevented to get into Gaza. it also restricted their reporting within Israel itself.
As I type one journalist get injured after unmanned fired rocket directed at a building roof where journalists were reporting. al jazeera crew were forced to flee and report ion phone.
Will Israel repeat what US done to Al-jazeera in Iraq and Afghanistan? Hope not, but nothing can be ruled out as mosques, UN installations, schools, ambulances, paramedics, ...are bombed and UN says no place is safe in Gaza.
